Asante Kotoko has recently appointed new representatives to participate in the upcoming Ghana Football Association’s 29th Ordinary Congress, According to a reported filed by Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
The club has chosen Henry Ohene Brenya as the team manager and Richard Akoto as the IT manager to represent their interests at the congress.
This decision comes after the dissolution of the board and the departure of Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management team.
The appointed individuals will replace the outgoing CEO and Administrative Manager Emmanuel Dasoberi during the congress, which is scheduled to take place on July 10, 2023, at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
This move by Asante Kotoko signifies a significant shift in the club’s leadership structure, as they aim to address the challenges that led to the dissolution of the board and plan for a brighter future.
