Asante Kotoko has expressed their interest in acquiring the services of Bechem United teenage sensation, Clinton Duodu.
At just 18 years old, Clinton has showcased impressive performances that have caught the attention of numerous clubs. Asante Kotoko believes that his addition to their squad would significantly boost their chances in the domestic league and help them secure a spot for Africa.
Having been one of the standout players for Bechem United in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, Clinton Duodu’s performances have piqued the interest of many clubs, making Kotoko the frontrunner in the race to sign him.
Asante Kotoko has officially sent a letter to Bechem United enquiring about the player’s availability. However, Bechem United has also received interest from foreign clubs, which they will consider before settling any decision with Kotoko.
Clinton Duodu was named among Samuel Boadu’s Ghana U20 squad that went for the WAFU Zone B U20 championship.
Clinton Duodu has scored six goals and provided three assists for Bechem United since joining the club in the 2021/22 season.
