Managing partner of Innorvations/Events WBM, Whitney Boakye Mensah seems to be looking for Shatta Wale’s trouble as she says any parent whose child chooses the dancehall artist as a role model is a failure.
Whitney made this assertion following the current brouhaha between Shatta Wale and Ayisha modi.
According to her, it is normal for a teenager to get inspired by the lives of these celebrities and to some extent imitate them but to the level of dreaming to become like the person is impossible.
She added again that Ghanaians are the more reason why celebrities these days engage themselves in online scuffle looking at how they troop in to watch live videos of these celebrities.
Citing an example, she said Ayisha Modi got three thousand people watching her when she came live to fire Shatta Wale but if we stop watching them, they will stop fighting themselves.
In her exact words, she said;
“I see it as a sign of failure on your part of parent if your child chooses Shatta Wale as his or her role model. It’s very okay to get inspired by the lives of celebrities like Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Messi but dreaming to be like them is impossible. We have only one Shatta Wale in terms of human nature and nobody can be likened to him.”
