Teachers of public Universities in Ghana have hinted at resuming the suspended strike action after the government failed to honour her side of the bargain.
The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), has asked its members to resume their suspended strike on Friday, October 8, 2021, over poor conditions of service.
This was contained in a communiqué issued to its members on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
According to the said communique, the decision arrived on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Per the content of the communiqué, UTAG insists that the decision has become necessary because negotiations with the government are in a stalemate a month after it suspended the earlier strike.
