Showboy imbues powerful message in “Freedom EP” from prison – LISTEN

‘Ene Wo Ne & Nyame Dada‘ were the first two spearhead singles released off the EP last year to create the room and environment for anticipation ahead of the main project.
And here we are, CEO of 2Hype Gang Worldwide Sam Safo otherwise better known as Showboy has officially out-doored his much anticipated ‘Freedom EP‘ project.

It features his label signee(s); KD Bakes and Kojo Phino tagged along with well functioning new skuul rappers like AMG Armani, Ypee, Kweku Flick, King Paluta, WifiOvaHoes, Spag Maane, Kweku August and ItzLific.
Trap is a genre very dear to his heart by extension the EP. As a matter of fact, music in general is his addiction; it gives him a sense of functioning and purpose.
The ulterior motive of the ‘Freedom EP’ is to establish that freedom is a state of mind. Though he’s in prison, it hasn’t limited his good will, purpose, ambition and goals to see people shine and evolve under his umbrella.
Beyond that, Showboy has been an advocate of anti-violence campaign ever since he got arrested and served a sentence in prison for a violent act he committed.
The EP is made up of 5 songs including Poverty, Information Work Wiase, Bloody and the aforementioned in the beginning paragraph.
