Prof. Elsie-Effah Kaufman: Meet the beautiful children of NSMQ mistress – PHOTOS
Assistant Prof. Elsie-Effah Kaufman is the longest-serving Quiz Mistress of the most popular and educative show in Ghana and beyond. The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
She started hosting the National Science and Maths Quiz way back in 2006 and has been the most successful and praised Mistress to feature on the show.
Madam Marian Ewurama Addy was the Quiz Mistress from 1993 to 2000 Eureka Emefa Adomako from 2001 to 2005 where Elsie Kaufman succeeded her in 2006 till date making her the longest-serving Quiz Mistress.
She had her secondary Education at Aburi Girls Senior High School located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She bagged her International Baccalaureate Diploma from United World College in Atlantic in Wale (1988).
She advanced to the University of Pennsylvania and studied Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE).
She topped up with a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.

Madam Kaufman was also a research supervisor at the Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University in the United States of America, New Jersey from May 1998 to June 2001 after being a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Kaufman was a senior lecturer and the first head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Ghana from 2006 to 2016.
Her personal life:
Assistant Prof. Elsie Kaufman who is 52-years of age was said to be married to a German man. They gave birth to three children before they divorced. The three children consist of two girls and one boy.
They are decent children. Their complexion looks more foreign. She normally flaunts them during her birthday celebration. They took after their mother’s beauty and hopefully her brilliance as well.
Elsie Kaufman hails from the Central Region of Ghana.
