Ghana’s number one gentleman, President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has in his inaugural speech endorses the local gin produced in Ghana (akpeteshie) as he says “it one of the best in tow world.”
According to the president, Ghana has become a hub for the production of top-quality local gin (akpeteshie) that can compete with all other produced gins on all international markets.
He said although he does not drink alcohol at the moment, he can see from the look of Ghana’s gin that it is top quality. He added that the One District One Factory policy has helped to give the akpeteshie a wider reach and patronage.
“I am happy to announce that our local gin which is called Akpeteshie is one of the best in the produced in the world.”
“Although I gave in on alcohol consumption some years back, I can deduce from the look of our local gin that it is the best,” President Akufo-Addo said.
Today, December 7, 2021, marks the inaugural ceremony of President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia which allows him to steer to the affairs of the nation for the next 4 years.
