Older Sister of Twene Jonas speaks, back him to fire more

Social media sensation, Twene Jonas, has been trending online over comments he made about the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Amid the pressure from various people for the social media star to apologise to Otumfuo, old photos of Twene Jonas popped up.

The photos showed Jonas with his family and the word was that they took the photos before he traveled to the United States.

Following the family photos, the elder sister of Jonas as captured in the photos has spoken.

In a post that has a screenshot sighted by KumasiBlogger, the lady disclosed that Jonas is her younger brother. She confirmed that the photos were taken not long before Jonas traveled abroad.

“Yea Twene Jonas is my little brother. Pictures were taken shortly before he relocated to the United State where he calls “Heaven on Earth” Glass Nkwoa,” she said.

The sister who also lives in the United States went ahead to back her brother in his fight against those polluting water bodies through illegal mining.

“Truth will always defeat lies. Forces of Nature will always defeat forces of darkness. Keep our River Bodies and our Land clean the way our ancestors gave it to us,” she said.

Meanwhile, Twene Jonas has denied claims that he has insulted Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. In a new video, Jonas stated that he did not insult Otumfuo but rather supported him for exposing those involved in “galamsey”.

Jonas’ new video comes amid pressure for him to apologise to the Asantehene.
