MTN Adds New Feature To MOMO Accounts To Stamp Out Fraudsters

MTN, the biggest telecommunications firm in Ghana, has introduced a new feature to assist clamp down on fraudsters.

Mobile Money (MoMo) fraudsters have greatly caused harm to MOMO users as they daily dupe them with their smart schemes. Many of those who fall victim to their theft act are both illiterates and literates, most especially if they have not heard of their schemes and how they have scammed others before.

A report culled from MyLifeGuideOnline.com detailed that the inception of mobile banking across Africa has immensely contributed to the reduction of queues in traditional banks and most especially helped contained the spread of the pandemic coronavirus.

The deadliest disease which could spread through money could not have its way through that due to the high patronage of mobile banking.

Moving on to the factor which hits hard at the mobile banking service is the dawn of charlatans, thus fraudsters.

This, however, compels the telecommunication firm to add a new feature to assist track down fraudsters with help of the accounts owners.
