Madina MCE Vows To Rebuild Madina as Confirmed With 80% Votes.
Hon. Jennifer Dede Adjabeng has promised to work enormously to propel the LaNkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly to its desired state after she was confirmed by a 80 percent vote of the General Assembly of the LaNkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly on Friday, 1st October, 2021 at the Assembly office, Madina.
It was a beautiful scene around 5pm at the Assembly office, on Friday where Jennifer Dede Adjabeng was confirmed as Municipal Chief Executive for the LaNkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly by acquiring 16 votes out of 20 Assembly Members representing 80%.
All 20 Assembly Members of the Municipality took their turn to endorse Jennifer Adjabeng whose confirmation was one of the smoothest and transparent.
In her acceptance speech, the newly confirmed MCE for LaNMMA expressed her gratitude to the President for her nomination and vowed to follow his guiding principles during her tenure as MCE
“My deepest appreciation goes to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo for the honour to serve the good people of the LaNkwantanang Municipal Assembly. I promise to discharge my duties and responsibilities with utmost diligence and integrity” she mentioned
I promise to abide by this same ethos and instill a sense of commitment and service to the people throughout my tenure in office to advance your development agenda in the Municipality” she added.
She also expressed her gratitude to the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey for his initiative to make Accra work again because it has had positive impact on the LaNkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly.
“I deeply appreciate the vote of confidence our Assembly Members have reposed in me today to lead the LaNkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly. I promise to work hand in hand with the Assembly Members, technocrats and all stakeholders to come up with a common sense approach to ensure that these challenges are alleviated and that the Municipality moves on from strength to strength just as we are seeing with the impressive work our Regional Minister is doing in the Region under the ‘Make Greater Accra Work’ maxim.
