Ghanaian highlife musician, Dada Kwaku Duah, known by his stage name Dada K.D has shared his ordeal having been compared to ace performer, Daddy Lumba.
Speaking on United Showbiz, the “Honeymoon” hitmaker revealed that he has been treated unfairly by Daddy Lumba fans who believes he sings like him.
According to him, he respects Daddy Lumba (DL) because he is a “legend” hence Ghanaians must stop the comparison between them.
He further debunks rumours that he had a feud with Lumba to the extent of having an affair with his (Lumba) wife.
“Is it my fault to resemble Kojo Fosu? To his fans, they say I’m the only person that has given him musical competition; so if you credit him acknowledge me as well. I look so irrelevant to be compared to such a legend” he said.
Speaking on why he thinks Ghanaians are trying to crash their heads against each other he said “I don’t have any feud with Kojo Fosu as people might have thought. Most at times the die hard fans misinterpret my comments when I say anything about him. If there was any ‘bad blood’ between us I wouldn’t have named my first born after him“.
Co-guests on the show were highlife act, Kofi Nti, movie producer, Kofi Asamoah of Kofas Media and political activist cum musician A-Plus, with actress Nana Ama Mcbrown as host.
