Leonard Gikunu, The Head of Corporate Finance at Fidelity Bank, is reportedly dead according to a report by mynewsgh.com.
Unconfirmed reports state that he died from Covid-19 complication over the weekend, a few hours before the unfortunate demise of the National Security Coordinator Joshua Kyeremeh.
Mr. Leonard Gikunu is believed to have made some key contributions to the economy of Ghana via the Energy Sector Levies Act (ESLA).
Friends who eulogize say he is a “very brilliant chap who designed the ESLA Bond financing program from scratch to finance the BDC indebtedness to the banks”.
