Politician and actor, John Dumelo, has found his way back onto the set with a new upcoming movie starring actress Jackie Appiah. He is captured going through his script while sharply dress and sitting on a couch.
Jackie, on the other hand, is seen in the company of another actor also rehearsing their scripts.
It will obviously excite Dumelo’s fans to see him back on the screens again after he took a long break to nurture his political ambition.

For his first political attempt, Dumelo contested the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress against his contender, Maa Lydia, of the NPP.
He lost to Lydia Alhassan by a little over 2,000 votes in the December 7 polls. The actor polled 37,778 votes against Alhassan’s 39,851. Initially, he had demanded a recount after he claimed some irregularities occurred during the voting and counting process.
“I humbly write to your office seeking for a recount of all ballot boxes across the constituency. This is due to several irregularities that have been identified in some polling centres,” Dumelo wrote to the Electoral Commission.
However, he has accepted the results and conceded defeat. In a post, he made on social media, acknowledged the efforts of his contender. He revealed that he always comes back stronger after a defeat and this is going to happen in the next election.
Meanwhile, in other news, NDC MPs have marched to the Electoral Commissions office to petition them about 2020 Elections
