The Green Pastures TPH Church has fed over 1000 children during this Christmas festive season. The function was to encourage the children to uphold the Christian faith as well as its teachings.
The project titled “Project 50/50” happened on Monday 27th December 2021.
The church led by Associate Pastor of Green Pastures TPH church, Pastor Kingsley Kumah spent quality time and interacted with children.
A critical part of the of the gathering was the donation of assorted Christmas gifts to the children at the church premises at East Legon behind the Access filling station in the Ayawaso West Municipality.
Pastor Kingsley Kumah said, the church found it necessary to put a smile on the faces of children in the manner Christ would have done.
The children enjoyed food and drinks amidst music and dancing to tunes.
Associate Pastor of Green Pastures TPH church, Pastor Kingsley Kumah further said Jesus is the reason for Christmas. It’s not just about the fun but it’s about the understanding of why Jesus came into the world.
He added that Jesus was born to save us from our sins. That is the plan of God for humanity and so we must seek Jesus. We must allow Jesus into our homes, our hearts and into our communities, into our nation, so that there will be peace.
