Ghana records positive cases of new Covid-19 variant – Prez Akufo-Addo
Ghana has recorded some positive cases of the new Covid-19 variant, President Nana Addo has said.
President of the Republic made this revelation on Sunday, 17th January 2021 when he was addressing the nation on the covid updates.
During his 22nd address on the covid, he said some arriving passengers at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) have tested positive for the new Covid-19 variant and these persons have been isolated.
“Recent genomic sequencing undertaken by our scientists have established that some arriving passengers tested positive for the new variant of covid 19.
“These passengers have all been isolated,” he said
