COVID-19 Vaccine: FDA anticipating side effects, releases app to receive reports on the use of medicines and other health products

Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), the regulatory body responsible for the inspection, certification, and proper distribution of foods and food products as well as drugs in Ghana has released an app for Ghanaians to send their complaints after taking certain medications and health-related products

In a latest video on their official Instagram handle, FDA admonishes Ghanaians to get vaccinated against Covid-19 and also to download their MedSafety app from the various app stores to report any side effects they may encounter.

The app is intended to be used to report any side effects after taking any medicine or other health-related products to help the FDA effectively and efficiently regulate institutions producing such products.
