Popular Ghanaian boxer and comic actor, Braimah Kamoko, famed as Bukom Banku, has cautioned against the constant passing of negative remarks about his lifestyle.
The controversial pugilist came under heavy backlash recently for bleaching his skin. Bukom Banku, however, has warned against the constant criticisms of his decision to bleach from time to time.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami of SVTV Africa, he warned Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, for mocking him for bleaching. Bukom Banku vowed to deal with the host of The Real News on UTV anytime he meets him or visits the station.
”Akrobeto is small. When I catch him, he go see. When somebody bleach their self and you talk, when I meet am face to face, he will see that this is a man,”
Banku told DJ Nyaami. Bukom Banku’s ill-humour follows recent comments by Akrobeto that he’d slap Banku should he bleach his skin again while advising the boxer against the act.
”Bukom, stop bleaching your skin. Stop it. It is not good. I am ready to slap him if I see him and notice he’s still bleaching,” Akrobeto said.
