The Wenchi high court has dismissed an appeal by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the swearing-in of the parliamentary elect candidate from been sworn in as the member of parliament for the Techiman South Constituency.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) after the election declared the parliamentary election rigged as they stated that the EC and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had done all they could to deny them of the parliamentary seat in Techiman South.

Wenchi High Court has dismissed the application that will prevent the process from going on in court as it declares the NPP Candidate Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah as the rightful winning of the just-ended election. Mynewsghana.net reports.
The president-elect and other elected parliamentarians would be sworn in on the 7th January in parliament in other for them to begin their service to the country.
